Education Ministry
Objective: To provide educational opportunities
for members of the Church to reach their potential through education and
service to the community and the Church.
Educational Training
The Church also embodies several other units of
Christian development and growth in response to the building of God's
Kingdom. These units include Sunday school, Bible Study classes,
Bible Institute and affiliations in local and national church
organizations both at home and aboard. These components also
include your ministry programs and vacation Bible school for the youth
of the Church.
The Sunday School component is divided
according to age groups They include pre-school for children ages
one to five. The second group, the "middlers", focuses on children
ages 6-10. The third group, junior is geared for children 10-13.
The forth group, teens included, boys and girls ages 14-18. The
fifth group focuses on adults, men and women of age ranges. These
groups are designed to study the word of God form prescribed lesson
plans every Sunday for approximately one-hour. Children are taught
various lessons both from a Biblical perspective to daily application of
basic Christian foundations. At the end of each year, the children
are promoted to the next class or age group where they learn more and
more about he goodness of Christ.
The second component of the Church is Bible
Study classes. These classes are very rich in the word, knowledge
and application of the life of Jesus Christ. They are held three
times a week. Each week, the leader prepares a series of lessons
to focus on the written word of God and assists the members in a better
understanding of the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ.
The Bible Institutes are designed for
lay-members to become and grow more in the word of God, Special topics
include but are not limited to discipleship, Old and New testament
studies and other general scriptural analysis. These institutes
assist Christians in gaining a broader knowledge of the word of God.
The Christian Church grows and broadens its
capacity to reach other who are unsaved by becoming more involved in
local and national programs of the Baptist faith. Members are
encouraged to use local and national organizational programs as a means
to learn more about the work and work of God. Classes on various
components of the Christian Church such as music ministry, role of
Deacons and Trustees, youth training, Sunday school administration, and
Vacation Bible school are held annually to promote the work of God.
